ICT Business Analyst 직업(Occupation)의 ANZSCO Code는 261111이다.

직업 설명을 보면, 시스템 및 소프트웨어 구축을 위한 요구사항 구체화 및 작성 업무이다.

구체적으로는 뭐 사용자 인터뷰하고, 비즈니스 프로세스 만들고 테스트 만들고, 사용자 교육까지..딱 지금 내가 하는 일이다.

Description of employment duties:
- working with users to formulate and document business requirements

- identifying and evaluating inefficiencies and recommending optimal business practices and system functionality and behaviour
- using project management methodologies, principles and techniques to develop project plans and to cost, resource and manage projects

- creating user and training documentation, and conducting formal training classes
- developing functional specifications for use by system developers

기술심사 전형(Assessment Pathways)으로는 크게 4가지가 있다.

Post Australian Study pathway, General Skills pathway, Recognition of Prior Learning pathway, Temporary Graduate 485 (Post-Vocational Education Work stream) pathway

각 전형이 누굴 위한 건지 핵심적인 내용만 살펴보면 

Post Australian Study pathway은 호주에서 대학교 이상 교육을 받은 사람(학사, 석사..등)이 신청하는 건데 1년 경력만 있으면 된다.

General Skills pathway은 경력자들이 신청하는 전형인데, 학사 이상의 졸업 증명(관련 전공이어야 함)과 함께 경력 증명이 있으면 된다. 

Recognition of Prior Learning pathway은 관련 전공이 없는 사람이 RPL 인정 받아서 신청하는 거다.

Temporary Graduate 485 (Post-Vocational Education Work stream) pathway은 호주 학사 마치고 임시로 일하고 싶은 사람들이 신청하는 거다.

- Post Australian Study pathway : completed an Australian bachelor's degree or higher with an IT , Data Science or Cyber Security major and have at least one year (365 days) of relevant Australian IT work experience

- General Skills pathway : an experienced IT, Data Science or Cyber Security professional with recognised tertiary qualifications and a substantial background of several years in the field

- Recognition of Prior Learning pathway : lacking formal IT or Data Science tertiary qualifications

- Temporary Graduate 485 (Post-Vocational Education Work stream) pathway : international student who has completed an Australian diploma or associate degree

Recognition of Prior Learning pathway

안타깝게도 난 IT 전공자도 아니고 호주 학위도 아니다.
그래서 RPL 전형으로 더 알아봤다.
RPL은 크게 2 단계로 진행된다.

먼저 지원 가능한지 체크하고, 문서 제출하면 된다.

RPL도 경력 증명이 필요한데, 여기서 중요한게 6년 이상 경력이 있어야 하고, 경력은 주당 20시간 이상 근무했어야 경력으로 인정해준다는 점

Recognition of Prior Learning pathway

Step 1 – Check eligibility criteria : 6 years of relevant work experience
* Relevant IT work experience must be professional IT employment and at least 20 hrs per week.

지원 자격을 갖췄다고 치고..
지원할 때 제출하는 문서를 보면 신원 증명, 경력 증명(고용 증명, 임금 증명), 프로젝트 보고서, 그리고 작업 산출물(?) 같은게 필요하다.

1. Proof of Identity documents
Passport, One additional government-issued identity document, Resume/Curriculum Vitae (optional)

2. Experience evidence
A. Employment References
Clear original colour scans of Employment References detailing periods of employment and other key details,
Clear original colour scan of your service/employment certificate
B. Payment Evidence
Clear original colour scans of two forms of Payment Evidence covering the beginning and end of each period of employment

3. Completed ACS Recognition of Prior Learning Form
